CCP releases things and continues to add and work on them for years to come, we get 2 MAJOR content updates in EVE every year, Dust will be no different. In addition to constant tweaks and bug fixes on an almost daily basis. I dont think the ability to patch a game after release is a good reason to release a game thats not ready. Maybe I will he pleasantly surprised and all the many issues that still exist will be fixed in the next build. |

Since it has 'some' areas that are just completely borked. I understand a little Bork, but right now the Bork is heavy.
P.s. I have no idea why auto correct thinks Bork should be capitalized. |

I just worry that since this is a f2p downloadable game, a lot of people will "try" it out. First impressions will mean a lot with this type of game. If people stop by for some free cake and dont like it, it will be hard to get them back to even see the version that CCP eventually will make. |

I think we will see a big difference in the next build but i think we will see a much MUCH larger difference in the release build. Well I hope you are right. There are not many developers I trust as much as CCP, so I am not crazy worried, just concerned that now that they are in the console world they may be getting a different kind of pressure to deliver in the proper window. |

Templar Two wrote:Personally I doubt those $30 of content are for the beta. The beta will end and that content will be gone: not a great move. Also if you are not interested into the beta, for one reason or another, you basically loose it: stupid to say the least. All items will be reset and available at release, just like the merc pack items. There are no only for beta items. You are right, that would be stupid. |
